Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Equofi application, website, and associated services (the "Service") operated by DBTech Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Description of Service

Equofi provides personal and family financial tracking tools by interfacing with Google Workspace APIs. The Service allows users to automatically format, read, and write transaction data into Google Sheets, augmented by AI-powered parsing of user-submitted receipts and text.

2. Not Financial Advice

The Service is not intended to provide legal, tax, or financial advice. DBTech Pvt Ltd is not a financial planner, broker, or tax advisor. The Service is intended only to assist you in your financial organization and decision-making. You should consult with a professional financial advisor or tax professional before making significant financial decisions based on data generated by the Service.

3. User Responsibilities and Accounts

• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google Account credentials. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your Google Account.
• Accuracy of Data: You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of the transactions and categorizations generated by our AI tools before relying on them.
• Authorized Use: You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to reverse-engineer the Service, overload our servers, or abuse the API endpoints.

4. Third-Party Integrations

Our Service relies heavily on third-party platforms, primarily Google Workspace and Large Language Model providers (e.g., OpenAI).

• We are not responsible for any downtime, data loss, or API changes caused by Google.
• We make no guarantees regarding the 100% accuracy of AI-generated transaction parsing. You acknowledge that AI can make mistakes (hallucinations) and agree to review your data.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content and data stored in your Google Sheets), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of DBTech Pvt Ltd and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall DBTech Pvt Ltd, its directors, employees, partners, agents, or suppliers, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; or (iii) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of these Terms.
